Basketball Recap: West End Takes a Loss

West End lost against Gaston back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The West End Patriots lost 75-50 to the Gaston Bulldogs.

West End has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Gaston, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

West End will head out to square off against Hokes Bluff at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Hokes Bluff knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully West End likes a good challenge. As for Gaston, they will welcome Southeastern at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
