Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglas County West). They put the hurt on the Louisville Lions with a sharp 64-39 win on Tuesday. The Falcon have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Douglas County West can attribute much of their success to Zane Wohlers, who posted 15 points. Those 15 points gave Wohlers a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nolan Asher, who put up 12 points.

Douglas County West's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Louisville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Douglas County West will venture away from home to take on Fillmore Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fillmore Central knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Douglas County West likes a good challenge. As for Louisville, they will head out to square off against Syracuse at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
