Johnson County had won six straight road games dating back to last season and Jeremiah Scott did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Trojans strolled past the Treutlen Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 28-13 with plenty of help from Scott, who rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 90 receiving yards. His longest reception was for an incredible 90 yards.

Treutlen's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zaniel Stokes, who rushed for 71 yards and one score, and Za'Kian Tobler, who rushed for 102 yards and one TD.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Johnson County and Hancock Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Treutlen, they will be playing at home against Wilcox County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
