Baseball Game Preview: Northridge Knights vs. Northside Mustangs

The Northridge Knights will take on the Northside Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Latin hit Northridge with a five-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights came up short against the Romans, falling 11-4.

Meanwhile, Northside didn't have quite enough to beat Clemente on Monday and fell 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by just one run.

Vince Siefring was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Northside and nudges their season record down to 9-9. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.
