It's playoff time, and Danville had no trouble coming through when it counted. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 48-47 victory over the Shamokin Area Indians. This was a revenge game for the Ironmen: when they faced off against the Indians back in February, they had to take a 71-47 loss.

Shamokin Area's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jenssyn Shuey, who went 5-for-12 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Price, who posted eight points.

The win was the third in a row for Danville, bringing their record for this year to 19-7. As for Shamokin Area, they moved to 23-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Danville nor Shamokin Area have any future games scheduled.
