Riverside had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Hanover Area Hawkeyes.

John Chilleri was the driving force of Riverside's attack as he scored both of Riverside's goals, bringing his season total up to 24 goals.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Hanover Area, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Riverside will welcome Tunkhannock at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanover Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
