Baseball Recap: Central of Coosa County Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Central of Coosa County's offense. They came up short against the Handley Tigers on Thursday, falling 12-0. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Central of Coosa County's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Handley, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central of Coosa County will host Horseshoe Bend at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Handley is facing Randolph County at the right time seeing as Randolph County is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
