The Augusta Christian Lions earned a 50-40 victory over the Bible Baptist Christian Wolves on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Despite the loss, Bible Baptist Christian still got an impressive performance from Jaquayvion Gilmore, who dropped a triple-double with 28 points, 30 rebounds, and 12 blocks. That was a full 70% of the Wolves' points, marking the fifth time in a row Gilmore has posted more than a third of the team's points. Alphonso Rolle was another key player, putting up four points and 12 boards.

Augusta Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bible Baptist Christian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3.
