Soccer Recap: Mitchell Beats Immokalee for Their Fourth Straight Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mitchell had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Immokalee Indians as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 16 games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Immokalee with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dion Shala, Denton Buchanan, and Thomas Lutz.

The win (which was Mitchell's fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-2-2. As for Immokalee, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5-1.

We've got a battle between Mustangs coming up. Lakewood Ranch is on a ten-game streak of home wins, Mitchell a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. Immokalee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
