Recap: McIntosh County Academy vs. Portal
The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers were not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Portal. After a 5-3 finish the last time they played, McIntosh County Academy and Portal decided to play a little more cautiously this time around.
McIntosh County Academy has fallen quite a ways from their 16-5 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Portal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.
McIntosh County Academy will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Liberty County at 5:00 p.m. Portal is on the road again on Friday and plays Montgomery County at 5:00 p.m. on March 1st.
