In other batting news, Elsie Earll was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lily Egnew, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
The Heroes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, the Heroes got the win against the Eagles on Wednesday by a conclusive 19-5.
The Heroes got a massive performance out of Jordyn Taylor, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Vivian Rodriguez, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
The Heroes' victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for the Heroes, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Heritage Academy have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Heritage Academy struggle in that department as they've been averaging only 1.7 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
