Volleyball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Northwest Cabarrus and Jay M. Robinson had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Northwest Cabarrus' loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Jay M. Robinson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Northwest Cabarrus and Jay M. Robinson will both be playing South Rowan the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
