Amherst is 9-1 against Southern Valley since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles. Amherst will be strutting in after a win while Southern Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Amherst had just enough and edged out Maywood/Hayes Center 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Meanwhile, Southern Valley came up short against Deshler on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Southern Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Amherst, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Amherst took their win against Southern Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
