Basketball Game Preview: Seton Catholic Sentinels vs. Apache Junction Prospectors

The Seton Catholic Sentinels are taking a road trip to face off against the Apache Junction Prospectors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Seton Catholic is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Coolidge just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.

Meanwhile, Apache Junction also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Globe by a score of 48-36. The Prospectors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seton Catholic's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Apache Junction, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Everything came up roses for Seton Catholic against Apache Junction in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as the team secured a 78-10 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seton Catholic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
