Volleyball Recap: Forrest City Comes Up Short on the Road Against Barton

Forrest City had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Barton Bears. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Barton now has a winning record of 2-1.

Forrest City will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lee at 4:30 p.m. on September 9. As for Barton, they will challenge Ridgefield Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
