Football Game Preview: Hermann Bearcats vs. St. Clair Bulldogs

The Hermann Bearcats will take on the St. Clair Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hermann has given up an average of 29.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hermann is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 50 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Sullivan on Friday. They were beaten by the Eagles 35-7.

Meanwhile, St. Clair got the win against St. James on Friday by a conclusive 41-20. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

St. Clair's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hermann, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hermann was dealt a bruising 55-26 loss at the hands of St. Clair in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bearcats were down 35-14.
