Softball Preview: Meridian Trojans vs. Sedro-Woolley Cubs

Meridian is 0-7 against Sedro-Woolley since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Meridian Trojans will be playing at home against the Sedro-Woolley Cubs at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Meridian's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 19-0 margin over Bellingham.

Katie Prengaman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Prengaman has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances.
