Orangeburg Prep had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Bryson Williams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Hunter Judy was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Orangeburg Prep's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for St. John's Christian Academy, they moved to 12-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Orangeburg Prep nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
