Volleyball Recap: MacDonald Takes a Loss

MacDonald lost to Santa Clara back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Condor took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins. The Condor have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Ethan Bugarin paced MacDonald's offense, picking up nine kills. Bugarin got some help from Dylan Bugarin and his ten assists. Finally, William Pham kept MacDonald's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

MacDonald's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Santa Clara, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-17.

As of now, neither MacDonald nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
