Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hickory). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Bunker Hill Bears 65-27. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Red Tornadoes as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Hickory's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Bunker Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Hickory will take on North Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Lincoln will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Hickory surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bunker Hill, they will face off against West Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
