Volleyball Recap: Mission Vista Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Mission Vista had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Taft Toreadors on Tuesday.

While Mission Vista won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-18.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mission Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than Raquel Perez, who had 15 digs and three assists. Perez has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Mission Vista was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive contests.

Mission Vista pushed their record up to 27-11 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Taft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 35-15.

Mission Vista has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Ontario Christian on the 13th. Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
