Football Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Lynwood

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Lynwood Knights beat the Narbonne Gauchos 18-12 on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Knights' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 796th, while the Gauchos are ranked 394th).

Lucio Camacho was a one-man wrecking crew as he picked up 50 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one score on the ground.

The victory got Lynwood back to even at 2-2. As for Narbonne, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Lynwood will head out on the road to square off against La Quinta at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Narbonne, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Paula at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
