Basketball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 69-36 loss at the hands of the East Union Eagles. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for East Union, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-11.

Coming up, Seymour will challenge Lamoni on Monday. As for East Union, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
