McGavock's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Asia Braden, who had seven digs, five aces, and four kills. Braden is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoie Saine, who had ten digs, five kills, and four aces.

As for McGavock, they will face off against Lawson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lawson will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something McGavock surely won't give up without a fight.
