Football Recap: Holmes Huskies vs. Taft Raiders

Holmes played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Taft Raiders and fell 45-7. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 878th, while the Raiders are ranked 324th).

Despite the loss, Holmes still got an impressive performance from Jayden Hopkins, who rushed for 134 yards and one score. Hopkins showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.
