It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Brawley ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Imperial Tigers. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

The team relied heavily on Matt Gutierrez, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Brawley pushed their record up to 12-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
