Baseball Recap: Sebastian River Comes Up Short

Sebastian River lost against Melbourne back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sebastian River Sharks took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Melbourne Bulldogs.

Thomas Villars was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Sebastian River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Melbourne, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Sebastian River will host John Carroll Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Melbourne, they will venture away from home to take on Palm Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
