Basketball Recap: Del Norte Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Mesa, Del Norte was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They secured a 59-54 W over the Grants Pirates.

Among those leading the charge was Francois Satchivi, who went 6 for 7 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lee Grant, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Del Norte's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Grants, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Del Norte didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-48 defeat against Cibola on the 3rd. As for Grants, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-53 loss against St. Pius X on the 3rd.
