 Marion put another one in the bag  on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Egg Harbor Township Eagles by a score of  5-2.
  Hailie Lebiedz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits (and only one walk). Lebiedz has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Lebiedz was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jashaya Page, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.  Maliyah Williams was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.
 Marion pushed their record up to 10-0 with that  victory, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Egg Harbor Township, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Marion will head out on the road to  challenge  Green Sea Floyds at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Marion's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5  runs per game  this season, so Green Sea Floyds' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Egg Harbor Township, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Cedar Creek at 4:00  p.m.
