Green Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Faith Lutheran, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Gators' pitcher stepped up to hand the Crusaders a 16-0 shutout on Monday. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.
Mia Mor Hernandez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Lyla Baxter was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
