It was a good run, but Arizona Lutheran Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Fountain Hills Falcons by a score of 35-33. The matchup marked the Coyotes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Owen Beilke and Cash Hill certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Beilke posted 13 points, while Hill had 11 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Kayenda, who put up seven points.

Fountain Hills got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sam Barnard out in front who earned nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahren Lloyd, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Arizona Lutheran Academy's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-4. As for Fountain Hills, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Arizona Lutheran Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-52 victory against Santa Cruz Valley on the 7th. As for Fountain Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-46 win against Odyssey Institute on the 7th.
