Basketball Recap: Hallsville Takes a Loss

Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fulton Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 37-30 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Hallsville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Fulton, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hallsville has already played their next contest (against Linn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fulton will take on Mexico at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fulton is facing Mexico at the right time seeing as Mexico is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
