Volleyball Recap: Ulysses Comes Up Short

Ulysses lost against Scott last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beavers.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Scott scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

Ulysses' loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-19-2. As for Scott, their victory bumped their record up to 13-20.

Ulysses wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Cimarron on the 11th. As for Scott, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Holcomb on the 11th.
