Basketball Recap: Clayton Valley Charter Makes It Five in a Row at Home

It's playoff time, and Clayton Valley Charter had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Amador Valley Dons by a score of 59-47 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Ugly Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clayton Valley Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Perryman, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Perryman is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played. Jett Tran was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Clayton Valley Charter pushed their record up to 21-12 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Amador Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-11.

Clayton Valley Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-38 win against Junipero Serra on the 4th. Amador Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
