Basketball Recap: Maricopa Takes a Loss

Maricopa lost against Cibola back in February of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Maricopa Rams took a blow against the Cibola Raiders, falling 68-41. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Maricopa and nudges their season record down to 5-7. As for Cibola, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Maricopa will welcome Mountain Pointe at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cibola, they are taking a road trip to face off against Marana at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th.
