Caldwell is 8-2 against Nampa since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Caldwell Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Nampa Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Caldwell and six for Nampa.

Caldwell is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Middleton on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Caldwell was outmatched by Middleton and fell 81-11. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-4.

Meanwhile, in Wednesday's Canine Competition, Nampa didn't have enough. They took a hard 40-23 fall against Emmett on Wednesday.

Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Nampa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Caldwell was able to grind out a solid victory over Nampa in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 32-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Caldwell since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
