Soccer Recap: Ridgewood Takes a Loss

If Ridgewood was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Senn last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels came up short against the Wheaton Academy Warriors on Thursday, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ridgewood of the 6-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Wheaton Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Coincidentally, Ridgewood and Wheaton Academy will both be playing West Chicago the next time they take the pitch. The Rebels will host the Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
