Football Game Preview: Homedale Trojans vs. Weiser Wolverines + How To Watch

Homedale is 9-1 against Weiser since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will host the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Homedale sitting on five straight victories and Weiser on three.

Homedale's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Payette 48-0. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 25 points or more this season.

Homedale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Xavier Uranga led the charge by throwing for 244 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 84.6% of his passes. What's more, Uranga racked up 164.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Javid Blewett helped Uranga out on the ground, rushing for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Meanwhile, Weiser was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 21-14 win over McCall-Donnelly.

Homedale better keep an eye on Cole Ingle. He was instrumental in Weiser's win, rushing for 77 yards and three scores.

Weiser didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Konner White and Shayd Crossley.

Weiser now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Homedale, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
