Volleyball Recap: Timothy Christian Takes a Loss

Timothy Christian and Nazareth Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Timothy Christian had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Roadrunners.

Timothy Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Nazareth Academy work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18.

Bella Potempa paced Timothy Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Potempa got some help from Elizabeth Alex and her 19 assists.

Timothy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 29-6. As for Nazareth Academy, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 18-18.

Timothy Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nazareth Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Geneva on the 6th.
