Volleyball Game Preview: First Baptist School Hurricanes vs. Porter-Gaud Cyclones + How To Watch

First Baptist School hasn't had much luck against Porter-Gaud recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Hurricanes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cyclones at 6:00 p.m.

First Baptist School managed to slip by Cathedral Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hurricanes lost 3-0 to the Generals on Monday.

While First Baptist School was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Porter-Gaud waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against Palmetto Christian Academy by a score of 3-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Cyclones' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The win didn't come easy: Palmetto Christian Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-19, 25-19.

First Baptist School's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Porter-Gaud, their victory bumped their record up to 18-12.
