Soccer Recap: Clarkston Takes a Loss

After flying high against Miller Grove last Wednesday, Clarkston came back down to earth. Clarkston lost 10-0 to the Marist War Eagles on Friday. While losing is never fun, Clarkston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while Marist are ranked 44th).

Clarkston now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Marist, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Clarkston has already played their next matchup, a 9-0 win against Lithonia on the 25th. Marist has also already played their next contest (against Druid Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
