Baseball Recap: Richton Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richton can now relate to. They lost 14-1 to the Lake Hornets on Friday. The Rebels' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Richton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Pearson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Richton's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Lake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-5.

While Richton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
