Cross Roads is a perfect 6-0 against Overton since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bobcats will head out to challenge the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Cross Roads is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 14 games.

Cross Roads' pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against LaPoynor as they made off with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Overton's offense. They came up short against Beckville on Thursday, falling 16-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Cross Roads' victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-9. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Overton, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10-1.

Cross Roads skirted past Overton 6-5 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
