Preview: Windham vs. Grand Valley
Grand Valley (6-0) squares off against Windham (5-1) this Friday at 7:00 PM. Windham will need to watch out since Grand Valley has posted big point totals in its previous five matchups.
Grand Valley can now show off five landslide victories after its game last week. It put the hurt on Newbury last week with a conclusive 64 - 16 victory. Senior Eduardo Hernandez was especially active in the win, finding the endzone an impressive five times. Hernandez has been a consistent playmaker for Grand Valley as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Windham was so close, but it found itself on the wrong side of the 29 - 28 game against Garfield two weeks ago. Windham was up 14 at the end of the half but couldn't hold onto the lead.
The last time they met, Grand Valley really took it to Windham, winning 41 - 6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grand Valley since the team will be on Windham's home field this time. We'll soon find out whether that makes a difference or not.
