Shakopee was the 3-0 winner over Chanhassen when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sabers fell just short of the Storm by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Shakopee's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Shakopee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Chanhassen, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Shakopee will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Lakeville South at 5:00 p.m. As for Chanhassen, they are taking a road trip to take on St. Louis Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Louis Park's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
