Soccer Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson lost against Martinsburg back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Jefferson were already down 6-0.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Martinsburg, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will head out on the road to take on Buckhannon-Upshur at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Martinsburg, they have already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Tuscarora on the 16th.
