Recap: Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots vs. Concord Christian Academy Minutemen
The Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 35-24 to Concord Christian Academy on Monday. Chestertown Christian Academy lost against Concord Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 21-10 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Concord Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joy DePace, who scored 17 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Aubrey Collison was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Chestertown Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Concord Christian Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.
Chestertown Christian Academy will take on Calvary Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Chestertown Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Chestertown Christian Academy. As for Concord Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Seaside Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
