Football Recap: Bastrop Takes a Loss

Bastrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Rayville Hornets 44-0. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Bastrop's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Rayville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Bastrop is taking a road trip to square off against St. Frederick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rayville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Hornets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
