Basketball Recap: Jeremiah Russell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bridgeton over Atlantic County Institute of Tech

Bridgeton lost against Atlantic County Institute of Tech back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bridgeton Bulldogs fell 69-62 to Atlantic County Institute of Tech. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bridgeton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jeremiah Russell, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds. Those 15 points gave Russell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyion Gray, who posted 18 points.

Even though they lost, Bridgeton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Bridgeton's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Atlantic County Institute of Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Bridgeton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cedar Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atlantic County Institute of Tech, they will take on Pleasantville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
