Eaton has won six straight games at home, while University has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Eaton Reds will welcome the University Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Eaton is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Sterling: they outscored them in every quarter. Eaton was the clear victor by a 60-35 margin over Sterling on Thursday. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Reds had established a 20 point advantage.

Eaton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Courtney Steinkamp out in front who posted 19 points. Steinkamp's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Saryiah Gaona, who earned 14 points.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led University over Fort Morgan in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that University blew Fort Morgan out of the water with a 63-19 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-11.
University's win came from a few key players Eaton will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Allizzey Madrigal, who went 5 of 11 en route to 11 points in addition to six assists and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. Maddie McNair was another key player, going 5 for 7 to rack up 10 points and four steals.
University smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive contests.
Eaton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points over those games. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 16-0.
